Hmm Pilates

So on the weekend, i went on a bit of a spending spree:
$64.95=pilates set (mat, resistance band, neck rest, DVD)
2*$30=two 3/4 tights
$50-another sports bra (OMG!)

I managed to get 10% some of the stuff too, so I spetn about $166.

So far, I've done only one pilates workout-but it's a start.

I haven't been able to go for a run again due to it being too damned windy (and cold!) outside. The cold I can deal with, it's the wind that poses issues for me.

Tonight, I'm going to try the abs workout. If I end up doing the upper body work out as well, it's a bonus.

There's a gym opening up soon in Malvern East and apparently, I might be able to sign up and get a cheaper membership than normal because it's not built yet. It's a fitness first one, so I'm getting a bit tempted. The winter blues has made me want to get into the gym where at least it's warmer. Also, instead of having to buy DVDs to do at home, at least i'll be saving money by being able to go to multiple classes throughout the week. I'm still not convinced that i'll get my booty over to the gym regularly, given the fact that I haven't for the past 5 years. In 15 days time, I'll have to make a decision and just bite the bullet.

So far, doing stuff at home hasn't been incredibly successful-but then, I only bought my pilates stuff on Friday.

Argh-starting is so so hard...especially when I haven't done it before and don't know what to do!
