Life in General
In less than 5 hours I will be re-certified in CPR, as well as trained to use an AED machine...at which point I will run around giggling and yelling "CLEAR!" for no apparent reason.
Very excited to be taking French again. Only 5 more classes to get a Minor in it. Yay! As for math...Trying Calculus 2 - round three. The professor can't speak English OR explain anything correctly. So far the assistant has done a great job re-teaching the material properly. Unfortunately we only get to see him once a week. Bah.
The band I sing for (Emulsifier) is almost finished with vocals for two original songs, as well as several cover songs. We're hoping to do a performance for some Church by Thanksgiving and one for a Muscular Distrophy group sometime in December. Nik has written at least 4 albums' worth of music...all they need are vocals and lyrics. I can do lyrics no problem, but getting a vocal melody that will fit with the intricate music and still sound good is really tricky. Once I somehow magically learn how to do that quickly, there will be no stopping us! I think...
I get to machine this semester! I'll be making some strange, most likely unuseful, part out of illuminum using a laithe and a mill. It'll be fun.
Also dabbling in the area of acting. I've always wanted to act, but never really have besides cheesy plays and whatnot. I found some small production group in town that wants to try me out, so we'll see how that goes just for fun if I've got time.
