Ok...so several people have been coming to me with relationship problems lately. And I've finally figured out the secret...Everyone I've EVER known who has had relationship problems makes the mistake of meeting someone and jumping directly into a relationship. They end up having some temporary fun, fighting, hurting each other, and ultimately breaking up on horrible terms. The secret to having a GOOD one, is to build a friendship first. Once you're friends, you won't want to hurt each other no matter what. So if it does turn into a relationship, you'll both go out of your way not to hurt the other; you'll either fix things or break up, but either way you'll remain friends. It will take back-stabbing, lying, cheating, and all the other drama right out of the equation...as simple as that. Build a friendship...and THEN a relationship.
