(no subject)
It's been a busy but fun week this week. I spent last week in Leeds for Ric's sisters Birthday. She had a bit of a party at her house on the Friday which was really fun. We had lots to drink at her house before heading to the karaoke bar which really was a laugh. I dont sing (at all lol) but Vic had a wail of a time and so did everyone else, plus it was funny singing in the background and laughing at other people.
Saturday was also really good. I spent the day in the hotel room revising and then we got ready and went to the casino. It didnt go very well and we lost a bit of money, so we stopped and went for a meal at TGI Fridays which was really really nice. Then we decided to give the casino another go and we did quite well. In fact we won all the money back that we lost plus £300 which made us quite happy hehe.
Sunday we were supposed to be heading home early in the morning but instead decided to stay and have another day in leeds. We went to a very small zoo which was ok but didnt have many animals in it, then had a meal in a nice pub which was lovely. Then, as we had nothing else to do, decided to go to the casino again lol. And no we're addicted before anyone says anything, we know when to stop when we have no money left to bet. Anyway, we were all having a jolly good time and we did REALLY REALLY well. Me and Ric ended up winning £1200 between us, Vic and Darryl won £500 and Dave won £300. We were all very very pleased, needless to say lol.
Monday I spent the day revising which was very last minute, not like me at all. Tuesday I revised in the morning then we set off to Lancaster to the travellodge. Because traffic is so bad in the mornings, and I absolutely hate being late, we have decided that for any 9.30am exams that I have we are going to stay in the travellodge the night before, same for rics exams. So we stayed in the travellodge tuesday night. I was suprisingly not stressed about this exam at all, which again isnt like me. I hardly did any revision, but did lots of extra readings, and it seemed to work. The exam went ok which I am pelased about, 4 more to go now.
Thursday I had a very relaxing day at the alton towers spa with my mum. It was a lovely. They have a gorgeous pool, a jacuzi, 2 suana's (one very very hot, one just very hot lol), a foot spa place, a relaxation room and heated seats. We spent 4 hours there in total and my skin feels great today hehe.
Today I have been shopping and have been getting together the last bits for tomorrow. Tomorrow is my mums suprise 50th birthday party which she still doesnt know about yet. I now have all the decorations ready and cant wait. I am cleaning the rabbits out in the morning, then at 3 we are going to decorate the room. The limo is picking us up at 7 which again mymum doesnt know about, and then we are going to partay! lol. It will be so much fun and I really cant wait.
I will let you know how it all goes I am sure. There is going to be karaoke so I am sure that will bring some more laughs. I just hope we get her all the way to half 7 without her suspecting everything - we have managed to keep it secret for about 8 months so I am sure we can manage another 24 hours.
