(no subject)
Right well this may be another long entry so be warned.
My car is still in the garage. They need to order a new part for the gear box but they wont get it done until Monday which sucks because I'm supposed to be going away on Monday morning. I really dont know how I'm going to get there now. Good thing is that my car is still under warrenty so its not costing me a penny to fix. I have booked it in for a service while it is there though, saves me having to take it in another time because it was due, which is costing me £150 grrr. My road tax is due soon too which has suddenly gone rediculously high and because my engine is a 1.6 my car tax is more than my Dads lol - not good.
I have been on the phone to the vets all day today, different vets, and basically theyre all just a pile of crap, no one can help me. In summary, an autopsy wont tell me anything, nothing came up in bloody tests and they dont have aclue what it might be. All they have said I can do is to take a sick rabbit in next time and they will put it down for me! What good is that? Once they get ill they die within 30 mins anyway, I wouldnt even get to the vets in time, and thats not going to stop it spreading is it.
Now here's my quick summary about Paris that I never got chance to write:
The hotel was really really nice, it was only supposed to be a 2* so we were worried it was going to be crap but it was honestly so much nicer than some of the 5* hotels Ive stayed in in the past. The breakfasts were really nice too, I love continental breakfasts.
Ric had a suprise for me when we arrived off the plane too. The flight was really good and only took an hour, the plane was really empty and we were straight through customs at the other end. Anyway, we werent looking forward to getting to paris because we had to get 2 buses to get to our hotel and thats the last ting you want when youve been flying and you have suitcases and all you want to do is get into the park! So when we arrived there was a man standing there with a sign that said 'Teasdale'. I was like ooh. Ric had hired a man with a very posh car (some merc that was very very nice inside but i dont know much about cars so dont ask me what it was) to drive us to our hotel. It was such a relief. The guy wore a little hat and everything hehe. Then on our way home he picked uus up from the hotel and took us back to the airport! It was luxory lol.
Disney was good, it was absolutely hammered because it was a weekend and it did rain a lot but you dont really care when your in disneyland lol. We had a really good time, I love seeing all the excited little kids, I cant wait until I have kids to take myself. The parades were really good and so were the shows.
The only thing about disney paris is that there are really only about 6 good rides for adults, and although we really enjoyed ourselves we missed the big rides so when we got back we decided to book one night and 2 days in alton towers lol. Thats where we are supposed to be going on monday but goodness knowns what is happening now.
I am sure we will find some way of getting there on monday though. Then I have an essay to finish before wednesday and anothet trip to lancaster - hopefully we'll make it this time! Then I have officially finished uni and just have the lovely exams to look forward to!
