(no subject)
Had a bit of a random day today. It's been all over the place, even though all I have really done is clean the rabbits out.
My Dad and Brother decided to order that Ricky Hatton boxing match on sky box office last night because they wanted to watch it. Ric was round here so he decide to watch it too. I'm really not a boxing person, in fact I hate it, but decided that because there had been so much hype about this particular match that I would stay up and watch it. The only problem was that they estimated it wouldnt actually come on until 4am, by the time they had gotten through all the other matches. It didnt come on until 5am so as you can imagine I was knackered. Then he ended up losing anyway, but it was a good fight even I must admit. He was knocked out in round 10.
Then to top it all off I had to sleep downstairs on the blow up bed because Ric stole my bed. I didnt end up getting up until 11am, which was still early considering I didnt go to bed until 6, but I didnt want to waste the whole day. I am shattered though and cleaning the rabbits out didnt help.
I have now almost got one essay done and I have done half of another. I still havent done anymore on my dissertation which I'm really worried about, but goodness knowns how they expect you to fit that in with everything else. I've had to do 4 readings for one seminar this week (4 readings just for ONE bloody seminar is rediculous), and I've got another 2 readings for a seminar at the end of the week to do. I want to get as much done as possible before I break up for xmas on friday.
I went shopping again last friday with ric. He bought me the bag I really wanted and a gorgeous big overnight bag for when we go to London (though I have told him that not even half my stuff will fit in there lol). We're going to stay in Harrogate just for one night for his birthday on 19th, and as a little party/night out thing we are all going to a casino. I wasnt struck with the idea of a casino at first but the one in stockport have a nice little restaurant where I've booked a table and then a little area where people who have never played before can go. Apparently they just explain how to play everything properly, and they help you win too because obviously they want you to go back again and play in the proper section and lose all your money lol. It should be a really fun night though.
I cant believe its only 2 weeks until Christmas now *does little dance*. I've done all my christmas shopping now, and some, so I'm all organised for once. They are all wrapped up too which is good. Me and ric have our christmas day together on christmas eve and I stay at his until quite late and have a little buffet and play games with his sister, her boyfriend and his parents lol. Its fun. So with christmas kind of coming a day early for me and ric, and with harrogate on 19th, the casino night on 16th and only one week of uni left I can imagine it is going to fly by. Plus I have offered to take my Grandad out for a meal at some point this week, I just dont have a clue where to take him. Then it's London on 7th!!! I really cant wait.
