Been a busy week this week. I seem to have been all over the place.
On Monday we spontaneously decided to drive to Leeds to visit Ric's sister. She had mentioned that she had seen a gorgeous long haired guinea pig in one of the pet shops near her, and she knew we were looking for a long haired guinea pig before we got Cliffard and Alfred. So we asked her to pick him up for us, and we drove down to see her. He is a lovely little guinea pig and apparently has been shipped all the way from Holland, poor little thing. His fur is very long and silky and he's older than the other pigs so is a lot bigger too.
We brought him home with us on Tuesday, but were then told that you shouldnt really keep male guinea pigs in 3's, because two are likely to pair up and gang up on the other one. So that was us trotting off to pets at home. I hate buying animals from pets at home, but they were the only place with guinea pigs and I didnt want a fight to break out amongst our three pigs before I had chance to get another. They also had this gorgeous little guinea pig which i couldnt resist. It was a bit of a pain trying to buy him though as they apparently only sell guinea pigs in pairs, but after much explaining lol, they sold me Norris.
Norris has gorgeous colours in fur and lovely pink albino eyes. They are all getting along really well now and are so much ore lively and talkative. I think even Cliffard and Alfred enjoy sharing their cage with them.
Other than that I've been to Greenside again to get more pictures from the kids, I've been to Costco (I love that place!) hehe, and I've cleaned out the rabbits twice. Not very exciting but hey. I was also showing a young couple the rabbits last night, but it was quite late and dark so i was struggling a bit, when this random dog came running into the shed. I didnt know what was going on at first but all the rabbits went crazy and this dog was running around in circles. I had to drag it out of te garden by its colour and then it ran off. It must have come in cos I left the gate open.
It's also my Dad's birthday on sunday and instead of going out, because we couldnt think of anywhere nice to go, me and ric have decided to cook him a gorgeous 4 course dinner hehe. It starts off with a pate and french bread starter, followed by a carvery 3 meat roast dinner with all the trimmings, and to finish with a lovel cheesecake and coffee etc etc. There are a few other intermediate things in there too which I cant remember hehe. Guess who will be doing most of the cooking...but I am in charge of the cheesecake so watch this space to find out how it all turns out...
