(no subject)
Just thought I'd post a little entry about what's been going on other than Harry Potter.
I finally managed to get rid of all the budgies and the rabbits are doing really well. We have 26 babies at the moment! I havent advertised any yet so I've only sold 2, but as soon as I put them I know they will go straight away. They are sooo cute.
My jury service has been going kind of well so far. I went Monday and didnt get picked for any, so I just sat there all day and read my book. It was very very boring, but at least I didnt have to do anything. They give you a number to ring every night at 6pm to see if you are in the next day. I rang it Monday and I didn't have to go in today so I was like yay! But I've just rung it again now and it says everyone has to go in so I'm a bit annoyed. I was hoping for another day off. I dont know why they need everyone, and I dont know if that means they're going to use everyone, or if it will be like Monday all over again. In a way I hope its like Monday so I dont have to do anything, but in another way I kind of want to do at least one trial. If I'm not put on anything tomorrow though, then that could mean I get off with another day off on Thursday, but we'll have to see. I'm really not looking forward to it.
I enjoyed my day today though. I decided that because I had a day off that I would take my Grandad out for a meal. He really enjoyed it and it was nice. Then we mentioned that were going to go to asda and he said he wanted to come. OMG! He's deadly with a trolley lol. He was all over the place and getting in people's way and everything. Then he spilt his strawberries all over the floor near the til and the guy had to go and get him some more, and to top it all off, he dropped a £20 note and the people behind had to give him back to him lol.
He enjoyed himself though which is good, and we have a gorgeous whole crispy duck and pancakes for tea which I cant wait for. I'm just a bit uspet I have to go in tomorrow, it's so nerve racking lol. I dont really know why, because its not like I'm on trial or anything, I just have to sit there and listen, but when they start reading names out for each jury its well scary until they finish. I managed to avoid 6 trials on Monday, so my chances of avoiding them all again tomorrow are slim. I was also hoping to sit down a watch a film tonight and stay up late, but looks like I'll have to go to bed early :(
