(no subject)
It's been a really busy last 2 days and now I'm knackered. We managed to get a lift back to Manchester yesterday with a friend of Ric's sister who also goes to Lancs uni and was driving back to go to her party last night - so we saved money and time on the bloody train.
The night out was really good. The meal was really nice and then just a few of us went out to town. We started off in a Salsa club which was, er, interesting - it was full of people that could really salsa and were just showing off lol. We were just messing around but it was fun. Then we went to the karaoke bar. It was absolutely packed and although 3 people out of our group put their names down for songs, 2 and 1/2 hours later, no one had been called. There was a real **** of a man though who kept singing, practically every other song was his and he was a right arrogant...grr!
Anyway, we stayed their until about half 2 but then when all the other clubs started kicking people out it got even more busier until it was so busy that peple could hardly move, so we left. We were going to try some other clubs but lots of people had to be up early in the morning so we all headed home.
It was a really good night though and we had fun. I'd like to go out with those people again at some point in the future - apart from one guy who managed to smoke about 40 cigarettes during the night. Every time I looked at him he was lighting another and I hate it when people smoke near me.
(Oh and Darrell proposd to Vic - she was really excited and her ring is soooooo gorgeous!)
Anyway, I got up this morning with the intention of getting the train back to Lancaster only to find that there were no direct trains. I had to get one to preston and then a bus from preston to lancs. I dont even know preston that well so I would never have found the bus station from the train station.
I managed to guilt trip my mum and dad, by sulking alot, into giving me a lift back to lancs, so all in all it was a good weekend not having to get trains and saving 2 lots of train fairs.
Since getting back I've cleaned the house and cleaned out all the rabbits because I have 2 people coming around to see Bentley. I am pretty confident that they are going to take him. Good news too: Bailey has just started to build a nest. I am so excited that she is going to give birth because I had just about given up that she was ever going to have any again. I'm a bit confused by the dates though, so there is a small chance that its just a phantom pregnancy, but she has such a fat little belly that I'm seriously keeping my fingers crossed.
Lilly's babies are getting big now too and the first one ventured out of the nest today - they haven't opened their eyes yet though so he was a bit clumsy but very cute. And Milly's babies will be ready to leave in 2 weeks :( They are so big now its amazing.
I am really worrying about my exam on wednesday because I've hardly done any revision because I've been so busy - I'm starting to panic now ....
