i searched my things for two hours for two of the most important possessions in my life right now... sherman's essay "empathy and imagination", and the parcel i got from aaron two years ago and never sent one back (because i couldn't compete, you know me...)
so, i haven't found them yet, but i did find a million photos taken through one night and morning at the flower stand my friend worked for in 2001, in both black and white and colour. old photos of my family, religious stickers that gil brought back from india, many unbearably wonderful letters from friends in foreign countries, a bag full of catnip that fei now refuses to move from on top of, and probably some other things.
i found this unsigned, but verifiably authentic, two toned sketch on blue paper drawn by devendra banhart and sold during his show with six organs of admittance four years ago. it's folded twice so i'm not sure what i could get for it, but i'd like to sell or trade.
