i can taste it in my mouth
as it engulfs my soul
killing me from the inside
but feeling so good
why?

it is a euphoria that transcends the means of explanation
but this
just peacefulness and calming

it stings and burns for just a moment
strangling the very life out of me
and then the pain stops
and i am relaxed and free

and it starts all over again
until i am satisfied
