I should play my bass more
I know how we tend to feel when we find ourselves removed from someone's "Friends list" - itself, a moniker with enormous PR problems - so I didn't want to be mysterious, or, for that matter, selective. I am just trying to focus, and I'm taking a step back to refocus how I spend my time online, reading and getting information. With that, I'm unlinking from everyone's journal in an effort to stop reading them and create more time in my life for some other projects.
I am still interested in you, and I probably will still sneak in and read from time to time, but this will make it more of a meditative decision when I choose to do so, and I will stop just defaulting to the behavior idly whenever I can't focus on something else, which is my current habit. As for why I continue to write, I am fairly certain I have just come to enjoy the exercise, especially since it's one of the few places I write outside the workplace and I like to make sure I still know my own voice, frankly.
