I got the internship.
So yeah. I got the internship I interviewed for. It's not in the field I plan on working in. It's not related to the field I plan in working in. It's actually in a field that I'm minimally intersted in-- on a good day. Usually, the idea of working in this particular field causes me to want to stab my eye out with a fork... but they liked me... and they made me an offer that I cannot (for monetary reasons) refuse.
And so... I take my first step into adulthood-- abandoning what I want to do for money.
Jeez.
