Ah, the job hunt continues! Got a ton of apps today, here's hoping somebody will call me back. It's really weird not working at Black Sheep anymore; it feels really odd to go in now and know that I don't have work there the next day.
That being said, though, everyone's been really nice about it. I'm going to hang out with a few co-workers tomorrow night, to start. I really love the people I work with there. :3
I've also applied for a position as a House Elf at Hogwarts Dining Hall cashier at Mount Holyoke; there's a full-time position available that would pay me decently better than my cashiering job at the deli did. And then there's also the prospect of seeing doorknocker_dog on a regular basis. And also working at an all-girls school. Oh.
In any case, I could try to gloss over how things have been, but I'm kind of at the point where I can't. It's pretty obvious to those folks who've seen my tweets, but I have been sort of... revoltingly depressed and self-conscious. Like, in a much more tangible way than ever before. I seriously need to figure out what is going on before this shit gets any worse. I also really appreciate those of you who have taken the time to send love my way. <3 It really helps on days where I actually feel sick from the weight of it. I've never gone through a bout of it quite this intense, so every little distraction, every small comfort, really goes a long way.
