So they are saying James Frey (a million little pieces) is full of shit. That he exaggerated some of his story. That some of it is not true.
I have read his books. in fact, I had his new book ordered as soon as I knew it was coming out.
I love his books
I ask you this:
What author of an autobiography has NOT embellished a little bit? Would you, honestly, read a story about some guy in rehab? just some dude going through the process? No, probably not. Bu would you read a story about a guy in rehab that bit a whole through his cheek and became the son of a mob head and had inadvertantly caused a girl to die? yeah, you would.
THEY ALL MAKE A LITTLE UP! it fuckin happens. who wants to read about the life of an addict if it isnt exciting "I snorted a line, got crazy, snorted another line, went to rehab, puked a lot, came home" that is fuckin boring.
You know, a lot of these books we all rely on and stories of women who have accomplished, i bet you some of their stories are embellished too. so give the guy a fucking break man. he wrote a good book. Its a national bestseller and he has a movie deal. Did people like it? they sure as hell did. So go on. read the book. That is why people write books, so we can enjoy them. Enjoy them. Yes, he passed it off as truth, but seriously, as i said, i dont think there is a single freakin autobiography is all truth. Lay off of it people. They are mostly true great fucking books. Let the man alone.
