Damn it all.
Damn it. Why can't I lie? The best I can do is evade, but apparently that doesn't work. We all do things we don't intend to have our parents know about, but when asked directly, did I lie and say "No, NEVER!"? No. I tried to evade. But evasion is a yes and my mother now knows about me something that I hadn't particularly wanted her to know. Damn it Jody for asking. Damn it mother for hearing what Jody asked and repeating it. And damn me for being unable to lie. She isn't upset or anything, but I still didn't want her to know.
Damn it again. I didn't buy Harry Potter, my mom did, so she is reading it, then my sister, then it would be my turn, BUT, I am in Salem and they are in Redmond. Therefore, I have to wait around for my turn AND the next time I am in the area. That may be sooner than I thought originally though.
Damn it again. I don't have my cell phone with me. It is most likely on the floor of the passenger side front seat in my mom's car. That means that contacting me will be much more difficult. I am supposed to meet up with Erin this week to get the country fest tickets, but we communicate via phone. This should be fun. I'll see if I can get the number from Maggie and just do all communication during lunch and breaks? This also means that I must go to the C.O. AGAIN, probably friday after work, and come back early Saturday morning to get Michelle and go to Country Fest. Ugh. Stupid phone. Maybe she can mail it to me?
P.S. If anyone is in the Salem area and is finished with HP6 and would like to lend it to me to read, I would be eternally grateful and would most likely have it back to you in about 2 days... I have finished every HP book in one or tops two days. This one should be no different, aside from the fact that I work full time. Whatev, it isn't like I have a life outside of work.
Another note: In case you hadn't gathered, Michelle Levin and I are going to Country Fest this Saturday. Also going: Maggie DeLancey and hopefully Kyle (whom I haven't seen in forever, I think once in June?), maybe Lilli and someone else? Bitchin. Yeah. I used it.
Yet another note: I am borrowing the company's costco card, so I get to go to Costco! Woot! I haven't been in a long time, and there is some joy that comes from shopping at costco. I want to buy a flat of muffins and freeze them so they last. MMMM muffins. I think this should be amazing fun.
Finally: Maggie is back from her christian cruise (she was accused of being unchristian on the third day by a thirteen year old girl because she was wearing a two piece bathing suit) so I am back at my own desk and I have my Maggie back! Yay! Must find out how Jodie did in Canada, sounds fun, just because it is Canada. Will be having dinner with Jodie and Chelsea soon, annex reunion... hollerrrr! Well, a good portion of the annex is reuniting. Also, apparently we are going to do another dinner at Dave's, and I guess Erik is in town, which I didn't know. Annie B. Yeah. You know who I'm talking about.
