Maybe I will still go abroad, it does look like there is still a chance of me getting the correct amount of credits. I don't know for sure, but I have a while to wait still... I am accepted to Heidelberg. I know I can go there if I choose. If I can get enough credits, I'll go. If not, I'll stay. Munich is for sure out though. I don't know. I have an appointment with Dean Douglass on Monday, I thought out an entire speech instead of sleeping (I tried to go to bed at 10, but I rehearsed the speech in my head for a while and entertained many less coherent thought processes as well). It is something about how my future lies not in my own hands, but in the hands of a school administrator, and how that is not right. It was pretty good last night... I think. I now don't quite know what I am saying. I think that it will be something along those same lines though. I talked to the first infatuation of my college career some today, I am driving both of us to UO campus for the orientation. Then he flies out the next day. It will be sad to see him go, but then again, I will definitely see him again at the pre-semester language training in T I really do want to go... guh. This is the most difficult decision of my life!
In other news, I have a meeting with Beth Delmar of Bon Apetit today, regarding the food for MB. It should go well.
I am going to UO tonight, then Monica and I are coming back to WU for Wulapalooza... then Megan is also coming to Wulapalooza. We will hopefully find a good party (Belmont maybe? I hope.) And Sunday Megan heads back to Redmond, and either some kid she goes to school with or I will take her back to UO. Sounds like a good weekend, eh? I like. It should be rather... free and happy. I don't have any papers, I still have class, so I can't study yet, I don't have much homework left, only one last homework assignment for Stats I think... We turned in that final project. All I have left are the three finals on the 9th and 10th. Then that meeting on the 14th. Senior Brunch on the 15th. Moving in with Lilli on the 16th. All the while working? Yeah. Cool. PS - I will hear about the museum job either the end of this week or the beginning of the next. I am a little unsure as to whether I can accept or not though, since I don't know if I will be able to fill in Weekdays as they asked. They may hire two though, in which case that person can take all the weekdays... I have a full time job already! I hope it is Damien in the other position, that would be great! The other option is good too, I like her, but I know Damien better, and he has a house with some other people, so that will be fantastic, parties maybe?
I am for some reason in an unnaturally optimistic mood right now.
I am happy that I am not the only one who misses mexican food upon leaving the West Coast. I missed it leaving the Bay Area... leaving the West Coast entirely may kill me. Haha.
I am such a West Coast snob... I hope that I enjoy Europe as much as I enjoy the West Coast! If I do go to Germany, I will hopefully have a substantial layover on the East Coast, hopefully near Boston. Why would I want a long layover, everyone in their right mind is wondering, to visit Chris! Cross your fingers for me! PS - in the willamette catalog it says that Willamette will pay for the flights for certain programs, including a year in Germany... hells yes Willamette. All I have to do is finish paying that $300 and do my passport stuff... speaking of... I had better get on that passport thing! Especially since I need to get a Visa to go!
