...but I'm saying it all anyway.
Yesterday was... uneventful. I went to classes, found out that the quiz for rhetoric should be way less stressful than I had earlier thought. I won't call it easy because I'll have to work hard on it, but it isn't going to involve me being miserable and grinding my teeth from stress trying to create a rhetorical masterpiece in an hour's time.
Math was odd. I am glad Tess showed up, but seriously, the professor was dressed like someone out of that SNL skit, "A Night at the Roxbury." Sick. We are talking clingy collared shirt and too tight pants. Tess and I definitely bobbed our heads in the Chris Catan/Will Ferrel style. It was all too fitting when a cell phone went off in class with some glaring dancehall beat, I started to wonder if I was in a math class or a bad early 90's club.
Once I got back from class, I helped with a little baking project. It was lovely because we definitely got to do the traditional licking of the batter from the utencils. Lauren and I were thus covered in chocolate batter - hawt. I like these moments in which my mentality is more that of a 12 year old girl than a 21 year old, stressed out woman.
After that I went to study, which kind of turned into half-assed napping. That meant it was lucky that Mia and I had plans for studying later.
I grabbed a handful of dinner before going to work, and let me just say that work, and I will list no details, was WONDERFUL. After work Dave, Lauren, and I grabbed some ice creams and chilled at Montag shortly, then I headed back to Smullin to watch "Lola Rennt" or, auf English, "Run Lola, Run" and to possibly flirt. Well, I didn't really flirt, but there has been almost daily contact, and I think that in some cases there has been flirting, so I think things are going well. At least I hope so...
After that Mia and I did some hardcore studying for econ. I tried to continue that after we parted ways around midnight, but I fail at studying and watched some German music videos on youtube and then went to bed. I decided to try to be hardcore in the morning and study - but I didn't get up until a normal time. I cut down the usual routine a little and studied what I could. I think it's there, all except for one minor part of one huge concept - GRAPHING. I can figure out how to graph a lot of that shite, but there for some reason I can't figure it all out. I guess I'll just have to leave that for last, hope I have an epiphany, or fake it.
As per my usual test taking theory, I am dressed kind of cute and didn't really skimp on appearance. Look good, feel good, do... well. CHECK.
Off to meet Mia for a pre-test coffee at the Bistro, we will conquer this test. At at least a C level. We hope.
