Up and down and everywhere in between...
Well... I slept in a bit today, which I do a lot since I don't have class early 5 out of 7 days of the week. I got up and around and then got around to actually doing things in the afternoon. Before I left I managed to talk to the person I've been wanting to really talk to, and after awkwardly avoiding what I really wanted to say, managed to say it, and I think that it went well. Great things may come of my saying what needed to be said on my part.
I went to hop on the bus and guess who else? Julia. So she went with me to the Apotheke where I was able to fill an entire year's prescription in one trip with the amount of money that before would have gotten me about 3 1/2 months of the same in the states. What, USA? Rip me off, please. Anyway... After that we went to the cell phone place so Julia could get a new phone and now she can call me! Then we went and got waffles and went to check out Max & Co's sale. Julia went inside but I waited out because she apparently eats much faster than me. It was a good thing though, because while I was waiting outside Antonio showed up and invited me to a party! Wow, that is cool. Julia came out and of course I managed to be rather awkward and forget to introduce her, and blush a lot, and tell Antonio that I would call him later. Anyway, after that we went to this intense candy shop where the owner makes you play high low (hoch oder tief) with dice (würfel) and if you get it right then you get some magnificent candy and if you get it wrong then you get some mini candy - either way free candy, though a bit intimidating. Haha. Umm, then we went on the search for me to find the new perfect pair of jeans, but then Julia had to go to class, I found some jeans which I think may work out, I am wearing them in right now. I have a bad habit of buying jeans too big so that within a half hour they are too baggy - I bought the size smaller than what I normally would and I just have to hope that they stretch properly. I also bought a really cute shirt that I will be wearing tonight. Oooh.
I picked up a bottle of wine on the way back and in about a half hour I will be calling Antonio again to see if it is at the Europa House or in Leiman. Oi. I kind of hope it is at Europa house, I have been there before and I know that I can get busses running back at some point!
I am pretty excited that things seem to be going so well! Oi. I hope it lasts!
