Well, it's not quite a fairytale...
So, today I was awoken at 6:30ish by my phone ringing but it was okay because it was my sister who had been trying to call me for days (always at awkward times like 4 am - 6:30 was definitely an improvement)and we got to talk finally. After that I went back to sleep again and didn't get up until about 11:30. Does that count as sleeping in or taking a nap an hour after waking up? Uhh...
At near noon I was checking e-mails and the like when the Hausmeister just walked into my room without knocking, good thing I wasn't naked or something. Probably a good thing anyway since I don't have curtains... anyway, that was great, he took all of our waste baskets. Julia told me they were giving us new ones, I don't know how I feel about that.
Anyway, I got ready and went through the girl going on a date thing of trying on dozens of different outfits but in the end was wearing the thing I had started with anyway... whatev. It was all okay though because my hair looked good and I was wearing my DiorKiss lipgloss in Praline which makes me utterly irresistable. Kind of. Haha. Anyway, I got to the altstadt just a bit early to be sure I knew exactly how to get to where I was to meet Antonio and then I wandered around the Weihnachtsmarkt for a bit. I eventually went to the cafe and was waiting around, but then got a text from Antonio saying he'd be late (not terribly surprising though) so I went back to check out a bookstore and then he texted me when he got there and I went back to the cafe and met up with him. So, not really date-like, let's be honest. We chatted a bit (I bought my own coffee, not a big deal though) and then we started working on homework. We were kind of playing footsie a little bit, I don't know, maybe he was just tapping my foot repeatedly with his on accident. Never can tell, right? And a few minutes before we should have left for class Yuki showed up and sat down with us (definitely not a date - again) but she kind of helped me out a bit with a question on the homework, which was nice. We ended up all leaving together with not much time before class and I teased Antonio about being immer langsam und spät (always slow and late) and told him it was his fault, but he still claims it is always my fault... whatev. We all walked together and then when we had to cross the street Yuki ended up running across and making it but we missed that and so again, we had another of our street crossing adventures when he grabbed my arm and we ran halfway across, hesitated a moment, and then I pulled him (fairly dangerously) the rest of the way with a car really close to hitting us (they totally wouldn't have hit us) but then while still holding on to eachother we were kind of laughing about the situation and he told me I was crazy... (maybe I am a little) but then we went to class and sat next to eachother again, but there isn't much interaction between us in class. After class I ended up leaving because I was meeting up with Julia, but on the busride home my phone rang once and then stopped and I looked and saw that it was Antonio, but since it only rang once I figured it must have been a mistake and didn't call back or anything. Whatev. Anyway - this whole situation is just toying with me. We obviously flirt a lot and hang out and stuff, but nothing is happening and I just wish it would. Ugh. Maybe I'll see if he wants to hang out sometime on Friday afternoon or the weekend.
So, yeah, I went to Julia's again and she made dinner, I am making her dinner next time, I feel bad that she always ends up cooking, but that is just how it has ended up. Anyway, we had fun, caught up on stories and a little gossip and talking about literature and movies and the like. It wasn't one of our Thursdays, but since I have to go to Tübingen to have lunch with Kris Lou (fjhdjhadfkjhajdhf) and the other Willamette kids tomorrow, that wouldn't have worked anyway. Oh well, he is giving me money! Yay, money! Anyway, I have to remember to have my buspass to copy and my tickets from for the trip there so that I can get reimbursed for those too.
I just can't believe it is December.
I am hosting Christmas! So excited. I am going to buy a little tree!
