update on first week back

So I've done pretty well for myself this past week. I've been working 7 days straight, got all my homework done and then some, got all my e-board shit done, got my committee meeting shit done, gone out four nights this week, made out with someone I had a crush on since freshman year, got to spend mucho quality time with friends, had fresh margs, and still managed to watch most of the "Newlywed's" marathon. A pretty full week. Hopefully this trend keeps up.

Though I had some hope that last night would be a good time, nothing led me to believe otherwise, it was definitely not. Brower and some of his friends from school came to visit and we went across the street to drink at Michelle's. I did have a good time there. It was nice to chill and just hang out. Michelle got VERY wasted by the time we were leaving. LOL. I had to wait behind for Michelle who was slower than the rest of the bunch- fell in the snow a few times and made out with a random on the way over.We walked over to Brandon and Nick's where it was a party like mad- you could hardly move it was so packed. By then I was like "Where's Cora? She has me and Em's beer." Um, so much for our luck, because like the ghetto nursery rhyme goes "Cora ran away with the beer." Yeah, and she fucking gave away two earlier that night!!! Some boy was mean to her and she got pissed, jealous of us paying attention to Michelle too I think. So, $6 gone, 4 beers gone, no drunk night with my friends, taking care of drunkies, and dealing with the Pisser in my room... not such a fun night!

Tonight is Jared's birthday and his sister Abby, our Alumna and friend, is supposed to come visit and celebrate. This is also an important night for me, seeing how I go on call tomorrow evening- no drinks for me during the next week!!! (It sucks to see my friends going out and having fun- knowing that I'm missing out :( ) Plus, I don't have class until 12pm tomorrow. SO, tonight, I plan on getting f***** up at Oldies Night. Period. (But watch, everyone will be "too tired")

So here I am at work again. Too bad people aren't given their wadges directly after they work. Seriously, why is it that you have to wait two weeks after you've been working to finally get a paycheck?? I understand the tax shit, but still it seems rather backward. You get a job because you need money, but they send you back for half a month?? Luckily I got my last GAP check in the mail yesterday. Thankgoodness! It will cover my credit card and $2 extra! I was getting worried about the whole thing. Next week I'll get my Library check which will be a hefty one for the library. That should cover my first dues payment and more. I get nervous when I don't have cushion $ in the bank account.

I'm thinking that I need to start looking for a summer job or internship... Where do I start!?! I need something close to my future profession, and that would not be working at the library, a lil kids day camp, or GAP Kids for that matter... Good luck to me!!

Well, an hour and fifteen minutes left of work. Let's cross the fingers and hope that Kyle has gone grocery shopping for the week. Yeah, he only bought about 1/3 of the groceries for the last week (mainly in bagels). We are out of bread, fruit, milk, most of the cheese, orange juice, froz pretzels, vegetables (except rotten salad, all froz meal shit... mainly were down to cereal, butter, bagels, wraps (nothing in them, just plain damn wraps), leftover shit like pork chops that NO ONE eats, and condiments. What a thrill, eat carbs, gain weight, or go spend the $ I don't have on food... oh wait, and why does my Dad pay about $500 a month for me to have room and board there????

So, point being, let's hope for some beer, food, and men tonight.
