FRINGE SATURDAYS! (always have to watch the day after to wait for it to be uploaded online)

OH MY GOSH FRINGE I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.

This will not be completely coherent or in order...just my initial thoughts.

- BEST EPISODE OF THE SEASON SO FAR. Episode 4s tend to be good though. Think "Momentum Deferred" from S2.

- I'm so glad they brought back Peter NOW. It doesn't feel like the storyline is rushed, because now we have the new dilemma of "NOBODY REMEMBERS PETER" which is honestly how I was hoping it would happen. This is going to be SO good.

- Love love love that the showed up in Reiden Lake (where he died in this alternate timeline because September didn't save them this time, ah!)

- OH MY GOSH I AM LOVING THE WALTER/OLIVIA. I'm a little confused as to her acceptance of what Walter did to them as children, but I mean she has been working with the man for three years now...and her anger in S1 and S2 was partially due to the fact that she had JUST found out about the trials. In this alternate timeline, it appears there was no like memory loss or suppression of the children. In fact, Olivia ran away (maybe after she killed her stepfather?) Since she has always remembered the trials, then, perhaps she has been better at compartmentalizing or dealing with that part of her life. Also, as she told Mark/Cameron, there have been no bad "side effects." (although I'm pretty sure she also isn't allowed to tell him the classified information about her power to cross over)

- ALSO, she says she hasn't heard from the other Cortexiphan subjects...does this mean the "Nick Lane" Bad Dreams case never happened?

- ALSO OH MY GOSH WITH THE OLIVIA/NINA. So has Olivia grown up with Walter and Nina in a sense? Did Nina take care of her as a teen? Or was like a mentor?

- I find it very very intriguing that -- with Peter not in this timeline -- Olivia has somewhat taken over more of the "daughter" role for both Walter and Nina I guess. Walter acknowledges that they're not family, that he only works for her...but, in a sense, they have formed their own "odd family unit" minus Peter. THE ROOT BEER FLOATS WERE SO CUTE. (also the setting -- with them at the table in this dark restaurant etc -- of the scene also reminds one of that near the end of S1 episode where Olivia confronts Walter about the Cortexiphan trials and is all angry...clearly things are different in this timeline :))

- Olivia's ponytail blowing due to the energy force that was Peter when the car almost hit her...total callback to the picture prophecy of the First People!

- The P/O shipper in me was totally 'awww'ing at how Peter has been asking for Olivia. And, based on the promo for "Novation" (two weeks, ah!), it seems there will be lots of good tension between them with Olivia not remembering and Peter remembering like everything (including the alternate future of 2013 or whatever I'm sure, right?) GAH! I'm predicting that they'll get back together in 414 probably? It'll definitely have some P/O romantic significance for sure.

- Also, the Nina-Walter tension is interesting and I'm guessing is a side effect from how things turned out with Peter's death, Elizabeth's suicide, and Bell's death too (Bell is gone from what Walter said, yes?)

Anyways, basically, FRINGE I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.

walter/olivia, fringe, peter/olivia
