I don't just not mind your Milton quote, I FREAKIN' ADORE IT. I love Milton. <3s quotation. And I find questions of fate and destiny quite intriguing when done the right way, and Pinkner and Wyman are going about it perfectly (unlike a certain writer for my other obsession whom shall remain nameless).

And I agree with you completely on the idea of a divine plan vs predestination. It's much how I see things -- what kind of a loving God would predetermine that some of His creations go to Hell? Why would He create them if they would be determined to such a fate with no chance of changing that outcome? (I obviously don't ascribe to Calvinist views either, lol).

And I definitely seem time as a human construct. Now my brain is going to that whole speech Kate makes to the Green Lady in The Perilous Gard about how God holds all of time in His hands and lives all time simultaneously -- that He has no concept of God Past, God Present, God Future, or God Forever. He is just all the Gods at once.

Apparently, I need sleep because I am rambling, and I think making no sense. But...eeee! I cannot wait to see how some of my favourite writers tackle this idea -- the dilemma was forced to take a backseat in Alias to answer more pressing, plot-centric ideas, but since this *is* the plot on Fringe, I can wait to see what they do with it!
