I think that not telling your mom about the bark in the mouth is probably a good thing.

If the dog didn't mean to bite your mom, they should give it another chance, or perhaps get some training classes for it. The Dog might have been responding to everyone dealing with the cat dieing.

yea I totally think she should get another chance too!

I know if we don't give it to her then her owners will put her down :'(

I *Really* want to keep her. she was a rescued doggy that was somehow abused with water (huh?!) Anyways, she's lived with a family that has tons of puppies and they've had maggie for 18 months with nothing but love from her...then last week she got too rough with a puppy and they didn't want to take her to the pound and my parents were visiting and fell in love with her too! And she is just....well i *adore* her

but more than the bf? i dunno:/

yeah, good boyfriends are hard to find. good puppies are pretty easy to find. Perhaps she just needs a training class, or doesn't like it when other animals get attention. Doesn't sound like she is worth getting rid of.

Watch the dog whisperor on the national geographic channel, any dog can be rehabilitated to be a good dog. Sorry about kujo.

Really sorry about Kujo, I loved that kitty. Friendly little retarded one-eyed fuzzball she was.

As far as the dog is concerned if it "accidently" bites people so hard they need to go to the hopsital, then it has some serious behavioral issues. It would require a lot of time and effort to work that out of her. Do you think either you or your mother have the time to devote to her?
