I had a wonderful Easter weekend. This is how it went!!
1. I didnt have to work on Friday at all
2. Friday night Joe and I went out to dinner with mom and dad to Pizza Hut. After that we came back and had our first bonfire of the year and ate yummy s'mores and talked by the campfire.
3. Saturday morning I learned how to drive the big'ol tractor and turned over one of Joe's fields. I have a wonderful farmers tan to prove it. Yes, from the line of my gloves at my wrist to the line of my t-shirt...bright red. I am turning into a farmers wife!
4. Saturday afternoon I helped mom prepare her garden for the year. I wish I had my own yard!!!
5. Saturday evening we had a yummy meal with Joe's mom and dad for Easter. Even though Jeanne is busy with work, it was nice to sit down for a minute and enjoy their company.
6. Sunday morning Joe and I went down to Mom and Dad's house with none other than the BUBS!! Yes, we brought Borris. He did much better this time and even seemed to enjoy moments of the visit. Yay!!
7. Sunday we sat and enjoyed the family's company and had a wonderful meal made up of beef roast, steamed green beans, rolls, potato salad, deviled eggs, and cupcakes among other things!!
I love the holidays....
One more week left in the semester for me.
Which means tons more hours at work. I have 3-12 hours days this week and 3-12 hour days next week. The other 2 days of the week I just work my normal 5 hours. I am gonna be exhausted.
