(no subject)
i take forever to update i know. i'm so bad. anyway... i went to florida on friday for the weekend. it was amazing. friday had a little drama. i lost my cell phone at the airport and was freaking out. i left my info @ the lost and found and luckily they called me the day before i went home that they had found it, so i was able to get it when we left back for NY yesterday. unfortunately i wasn't able to meet up with bianca on friday cuz of that, but when i go down again in 3 weeks hopefully we can get together for sure!
saturday we took charlie on his 1st fishing trip.. ok the trip was a 1 minute walk from my dads apartment to the lake, but it was great! charlie caught his 1st fish ever! and then his 2nd, and 3rd, and 4th, and so on... he is now addicted to fishing, and so am i again.. we don't eat them or kill them. we throw them back. my dad tried to feed a little one i caught to a bird, but i wouldn't let him! then we went in the pool and that was awesome. my dads place is SO nice, and it has 5 pools, and 2 hot tubs. not to mention a club house with billiards, ping pong, shuffleboard, etc.. after just doing random stuff we went to the dmb concert. i had FRONT ROW CENTER for both nights. 1st show was good. they debuted you never know, which i haven't seen since 8/24/03 and was a nice surprise. after the show we were exhausted so we went home to bed.
sunday me and my dad picked up my mom who was visiting her cousin in florida 20 minutes away from my dads place. we went to the cemetary so they could see their parents, and i could see my grandparents. i haven't gone to see them in 12 years. it was very emotional. i cried like a baby. enough of that.. we went home to wake up charlie and we went fishing again.. my mom caught 2 fish! it was so funny watching her try, and succeed. my mom rocks. after that my dad took us all out to lunch at sweet tomatoes which is a mostly vegeterian(perfect for my honey) buffet restaurant. they have such great food. after that we got ready for the show. 2nd night was better than the 1st. dave looked at me the WHOLE show.. i mean i was right in front of him, but still :-P when they started lover lay down i was so excited cause i haven't heard it since my 1st show 3 years ago(24 shows) so i was jumping up and down.. i looked up and dave was laughing and when i looked at him he stopped, and just gave me the biggest smile! love him..then at the end of the song he looked at me and says "you liked that, right?"" yes dave i liked that. i would like you naked too. okay now i'm just daydreaming!
monday was spent hanging out with my dad and charlie. they totally bonded and its great! charlie kicked my ass in shuffleboard. i was winning 29 to -7, and he came back to beat me 50 to 36 :( we also did the usual, including fishing and we caught a 20 pound soft shell turtle! it brought back memories of slimy, who was one of my first pets ever :( we did a bunch of other stuff which i can't remember.. all i know is I LOVE FLORIDA! i want to move there sooo bad now. my parents want me to finish school in NY, and obv. charlie doesn't want me to go, but it is paradise. i mean coming back to brooklyn is sooo depressing. who wants to be here when you can be there? if i don't end up moving soon, i will most likely settle out there after i graduate college!
anyway..back to reality in brooklyn :( i'm at work now til 8, then i have to work tomorrow 9-4, and then friday 9-5. THAT Sucks! i wanted to go to westchester this weekend, but my sister is going to visit her new boyfriend(well they've been together a month or 2 now) in the poconos, so i have to stay home and watch the cats. her new boyfriend is really awesome. his name is charlie too! finally she found herself a decent guy, which is greattt.
after work i'm going food shopping, then charlies spending the night. i'll try to update more frequently even though we know that prob. won't happen!
