The weekend happened thusly:
Friday: David Allen came by and recorded us. I sang my ass off and we were so gangsta that we did everything in pretty much two to four takes. When David and I get together, it makes me miss him all the more. Hopefully he'll have demos to me soon...
Saturday: I thought I'd be going to the Adler Planetarium but Ryan (who has the free passes) wanted to stay in instead. I went downtown to see Peggy (she was here for Lolla) and also got to see fucking CLARE which was quite a bonus (YOU LOOK GOOD, LADY). Peggy and I talked for a bit (YOU ARE ALSO LOOKIN' FIIIINE) and I led her back to Lolla and bought shoes at payless. At that point, I didn't want to do anything (Sarah and I were way sleepy). But I did finally see The Warriors.
Sunday: Ryan took me to Arlington Heights where we bet on horses and didn't win anything. But he showed me the ropes (kid) and I wanna go again. Then we had dinner (TILAPIA and mango margaritas). THEN, we went to a movie (Wall-E), and it felt a lot like what I'd imagine a DATE to feel like.
Today: The weather is DUMB, the plant on my desk is totally not dying, I need to go grocery shopping like nobody's biznass, and I LOVE living with Sarah and Meat.
OH, and MARK YOUR CALENDERS, cuz THE CELL PHONES PLAY THEIR FIRST SHOW AUGUST 27TH, ONE DAY AFTER MAH BIRFFDAY! WE ARE GONNA SET CHICAGO ON FIRE!!!! AGAIN!!!!!!!!
