the plaster theory

so tonight Exotic and i had a conversation about...
and i said to her, "it ended so abruptly."
and her wise words for tonight were,
"you know, it's like plaster. if you ripped it off quickly, the pain doesn't linger. if you pull it slowly.."
"the pain will be unbearable." i finished.

every time if things were to end abruptly, i will remember the plaster theory.
