Veronica Mars - new series!
Well, I'm still waiting to see BSG, but I've now seen the first episode of the new series of Veronica Mars!
I don't know if any of you watch it, but if you do, I'd love to chat about it, and if not, you should give it a try. It's a great series, I enjoy it nearly as much as BSG. And they actually mentioned BSG in this episode and used 'frak' three times!

And they started with a 'Reclaim the Night' banner! I laughed out loud, because I remember those from when I was at university, such a typical university thing to open on.
Great to see Mac in the credits at last, but they ruined the theme tune!! I don't like the new version at all, and I loved singing along to the old version. So thumbs down to that.
Thought Wallace and Mac's new room-mates had potential as characters (I think they're the new characters in the credits?). Should have seen the rape thing coming with Parker, but I didn't - is that going to be the ongoing mystery for the season I wonder? Thought Piz (hope I got the name right) was sweet, but I don't think his crush on Veronica is going anywhere - or I hope not. I have the nasty feeling that Veronica is finding Logan a bit clingy, from her expression when Piz asked if he was her boyfriend. And somehow I doubt the show creators are going to allow Veronica and Logan to be happy together all series, because where's the drama in that? I hope Veronica isn't going to dump him, but I have a bad feeling...
Hope Keith is okay, stuck out in the desert. So now we know why he didn't turn up at the airport.
And I never thought I'd see Dick break down in tears - you mean he actually has feelings? Are they trying to do a Series 1 Logan with his character I wonder?
And finally Logan, who perhaps predictably is my favourite character :-) Jason Dohring just has this look that just makes me want to give Logan a hug and cheer him up - and it turned up about 30 seconds after Logan appeared, when he was talking about Beaver's death. I'm worried about him. He looks slightly off to me, and why isn't he turning up to classes? Also noticeable he didn't go to the concert with the rest of Veronica's friends. When he was giving her the room key, he was looking very needy - I worry he is being too emotionally dependent on Veronica and this may lead to them breaking up. Nice to see him helping Dick out though, he needs a new friend to replace Duncan.
Anyway, overall - good start, very enjoyable, though I missed the presence of Weevil, Lamb and Cliff - I want to see them next week.
I have also just discovered that Lost has started again - I'm afraid my fic production levels are going to reduce dramatically now I have all this TV to watch, although I have had a few vague ideas for a new BSG story, nothing concrete though.
Now off to TWOP to read the VM reviews.
