For Victory
Lately I have been exploring and delving deep into other subgenres of music that I never really listened to before. Its been fun and exciting and interesting. Bands like Napalm Death, Carcass, and Bolt Thrower have really been running through the speakers lately. Guess it comes with the territory of playing in a grindcore band.
Life aint bad. Sometimes we are reminded of dysfunction and the shit of the shit that the world has to offer and that sucks. But at the same time, its adversity and adversity keeps us real. Or something. Makes you appreciate the good times. Im learning to be free again. Really free. Such a strange concept, freedom is.

Im excited for my friends to be in my town playing music. Im excited to go to other towns and hear my friends playing music. Im excited for music. Basically. I want to play out more, but I just have no connections with people who want to hear the Oily Menace who have a proper show for us to jump on. Meh. Not worried. Dont know if grindcore ever caught on, dont think its going to today or tomorrow.
