it is snowing in poughkeepsie. all my classes have been canceled, but of course i didn't find that out until i had ventured into the white abyss with mark this morning, across the campus all the way to fontaine. at that point, the side walks had not been plowed, so we were walking in the street rather than the foot of snow on the sidewalk. out of no where pops a snowplow, bustin', pushing snow, headed straight for us.
we looked at each other.
scream.
and run. i've never run so fast in my life.
i've never laughed so hard in my life.
i will never forget that, ever.
i nearly lost my life to a snow plow.
it's dangerous in poughkeepsie.
