one of my "policies" is not regretting anything. if i made the choice to do something, i'll stand by my choices later, and not want to take it back. sometimes i wish i wasn't that dumb, but i wouldn't necessarily change it if i could, because then i wouldn't have learned the lessons i did. but not all lessons are fun, as i think we all know.
from econ: there's a tradeoff for everything. and there is. giving something up, or making exceptions, all prices you have to pay. and goddamn, there were a lot of exceptions. but as mad as i sounded like i was, they were still my choices. it's like, if somebody offers you weed and crack, and you choose crack. it's your fault for choosing the crack (and not the weed) but they're fault for offering it to you. what dwyer says makes more and more sense. (it's funny how it applies here, too) you don't have to like the choices, but you do have to make them.
