The Immortal knew there was a reason he'd been attracted to Cordelia at first sight. "That's my girl," he croons.

He holds up his hand for her to wait, steps out the door, and slams the camera on the sidewalk. It shatters to bits, and the Immortal picks him up by the collar. He shoves his fist in the guy's face, and the papparazzo winces as though he's about to be punched. But the Immortal just swivels his head around and shows off his own ring. "You weren't here, you didn't see us."

"I wasn't here, I didn't see you."

"You have no idea what happened to your camera."

"I have no idea what happened to my camera."

"These are not the droids you are looking for.

"These are not the droids I am looking for.

OK, he hates the whole Star Wars comparison, but if he's going to do a Jedi mind-trick, he may as well mess with the guy.

Back in the store, he hugs Cordelia around the shoulders, and presses a quick kiss on her lips. Playful and friendly, but a real kiss. He pulls out before she has a chance to react, then turns to the clerk.

"Now, For the charmed one here? I want to see your very best." He murmurs in Cordy's ear. "You're a champ. I'll get a couple of whatever you want, too."

*OOC --We can leave it with Cordy's reaction, if you like, and assume they got the ring -- and whatever Cordy picks out for herself.

The leftover adrenaline from that brief rush of rage is still buzzing through Cordelia when Todd kisses her. And while she's surprised, she doesn't react, merely steps back once he's released her and tosses a wary glance at the front of the store.

"You better hope no one saw that. You don't want Piper reading about you kissing another woman right before you propose."

She takes a moment to shake it all off, then looks back at Todd. "And you're damn right you'll be buying me something. I didn't sign up for gypsies and paparazzi. You we me big for this."
