we're so dumb
WE BOUGHT A HAMSTER!!!!!
he's a honeybear hamster and he looks like this, only a lighter shade:
he is very fat. his name is karl. so far, he spends a lot of time running on his wheel. sometimes, he sits in the little hamster house we got him, which is shaped like a lion's open mouth. karl also enjoys rolling around the house in his hamster ball and antagonizing the cats. he is very brave. carlos has already tried to eat him, but only succeeded in getting his paws stuck on the cage which caused him to mew pitifully.
karl doesn't like me very much so far, but he has yet to pee on me, which i am taking as a positive sign.
