1. Eating (a lot)
2. Sleeping (a lot)
3. Talking! He likes to monologue out loud.
4. Running. It's one of the few exercisey things he's good at so he likes doing it.
5. Kendo. He likes beating up his grandfather at it.

WELL RAIN SAID LETO IS A BULLY (no he didn't but this is her conclusion) SO SHE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO FEEL ABOUT THAT. Leto's always been nice to her, she can't picture him being mean to people! Whether it's intentional or unintentional. So that's kind of a "oh...well maybe he isn't always nice to people" thing. Besides that, nothing much has changed beyond her DESIRE TO JESUS ALL OF THE PEOPLE. She's sick of people being sad or lonely or depressed or whatever. She wants to help fix themmmm because she can't stand seeing them all broken and sad. This goes especially for Leto, because he helped her believe that everything could turn out okay. Now she wants to help him! Before she was patient and decided to wait and see if people would open up and share their problems with her and let her help. Now she has decided to screw that and just make people tell her. This affects Leto because...well, she is going to be more pushy and try to help in whatever way she can. :x You can't deal with your problems so I will deal with them for you. (This

Leto loves Machika. Not in the I-Love-My-Sister-So-Much kind and definitely not sexually, but it is a very deep sense of love. For Leto, Machika is the epitome of the person he would have fallen for (in fact, his future wife in the novels is just like her) and the ideal kind of human being he wants his world to be based on. As a result, he is always kind to her, genuinely so, and is more likely to listen and help her than he would be for anyone else in camp. At the same time, Machika reminds him a lot about the things he wants. Companionship, being able to bond with people, being able to relate to people... he really wants this and it makes him bitter that no matter what he does, even with good intentions, it doesn't really work. And Leto is completely incapable of changing. He doesn't have it in him to correct hmiself. In a way, he's scared to, otherwise he might just fall apart and humanity will die :(

So... the pushing thing might upset and cause him to draw back for a while, but he still loves her :(.

Hahaha well it was mostly from rewatching the whole thing back in March. Rogue’s player wanted to app into camp, and I weaseled out of her which characters she would consider apping. And then she countered by saying she wouldn’t app unless I did, so I had to think of a character too. She had decided on Evo Rogue and the only character I could think of that I liked enough to app was Kurt. I guess I was drawn to him for the same reasons as Machika? He has qualities that I admire and an overall upbeat attitude despite his life being crap and giving him every reason to be an angsty emo kid. I’ve always loved his personality, and rewatching the series for canon review over the progressive months just made me love him more. And he is a SECRET NERD which I find adorable. And he eats all of the food like a dumb boy and can teleport and is fuzzy and blue. Most of the things he does I find adorable. He is like a puppy.

Hmm. I LOVE PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. The characters, their interactions, how it's not about "teen hormones" (my constant exasperation with shows that deal with stuff like that). Also, it has world-building which is a deal-breaker. Lance's life, the Academy, the fact that the villain used to be a part of their past. I don't know, I sort of love everything about it.

I hate that it got cancelled!!! THAR.
