In case you're not familiar with internet robots (or you are and I'm just ruining the joke), emails like this are composed of text cut from other places--including our livejournal entries--and then pasted into the email in order to get them to pass the spam filters. I once accidentally ran into a website that was a repository for the pasted text. It was frightening. It was thousands of pages of journal and blog entries crammed against on another. It went for miles.

I know these are common now and I knew how they were made but I was just thinking, who would buy some random stock based on a junk mail with some crazy shit. I understand that some people might buy the penis enlargers or the Nigerian scams or the vitamins but who would buy the stock? It is like some random person sending you lottery numbers or something
