Everyone, I have assessed the situation, by myself (I'll tell you), and I have decided that we have indeed had a victory!

(okay, if you didn't watch the Bush press conference, you don't get that. Lets just say, classic.)

I'm on a political high today...I'm sad that Harold Ford, Jr., didn't get TN, and also sad that i'm not really surprised...but I'm so excited that we're experiencing a blue wave...congress is getting tie-dyed and it's about time!!! We've got the house & could get Senate too...

Can you say omg?!?

I'm crashin' under the pressure of finishing the semester, and looking forward to Christmas break when I can work my ass off to pay the bills ;)

I registered for next semester, &

Spanish 322: Selected Readings in Peninsular Literature (yeah, Spain lit. in Spanish!)
T-TR: 1:30-2:45
Eng 327: Seminar in Creative Writing, MW 3:00-4:15
Soc. 402: People & Problems in the Third World, Monday 6:30-9:00
Eng 442: Topics in Appalachian Literature, MWF 1:00-1:50
Psy 473: Social Entrepreneurship Practicum, T-TR: 12:00-1:15
ID 217: Intro to Appalachian Studies, probably Mondays, TBA
Psy 323: War, Conflict, & Peace, Tuesday 4:30-7:00

Glory to no A.M. classes!!! My earliest is 1:00, MWF, & 12:00 T-TR. It's an amazing world. However, that's 18 hours. Eek.

But I'm satisfied.

In other worlds, the Mexico trip (to Chiapas, Summer/Mayterm if you don't pay attention...) looks like it might be with C-N officially now, Mars Hill invited us to sister up & go too...so mi profesora would go & some of my classmates too, maybe. It potentially makes it more possible for me to use my financial aid to do the trip...so that's exciting news.

Guess that's all for now. I, like sweeetpeaches, have missed Lj...we need some rejuvination.

Yippee!

omg...y'all...somewhere far far away?!?!, classes, awesome, the newman, news
