Misdo!
I'm a big fan of Mister Donut, a Japanese donut chain that allegedly started in Boston. I say allegedly, because I've only heard stories of it actually ever existing in New England. thehypercube said he has seen before, when he was a kid growing up there. St. Etienne also wrote a song with the name Mr. Donut, where she mentions the "sound of radio Boston."
I had breakfast at Mister Donut yesterday, and their current campaign looks really awesome. It's the 35th anniversary of リカちゃん, aka Licca. It could be the lure of the campaign's design, and it likely is, but I'm only one point away from a silly little doll that I'll wind up giving to amigarad.
While checking out the Misdo site, I found the Music Section. They exclusively play English songs in the shop, mostly oldies style, and on the music page, you can see the details of what song will be playing, down to the second, upon your next visit to the shop. I think that's actually kind of creepy, don't you?
