for the business traveler
well, i'll be traveling a bit for work this week, which is a first for me. i mean, most of my friends have enjoyed the perks of business travel, including kenasehc, who went to brazil, even! i'll just be attending the NCIV regional conference in Burlington, VT, this thursday thru saturday. on saturday, some of us will be headed to Montreal for a day trip, which is really very exciting as well. i've never been to either of these places, and i'm looking forward to hanging with the hippies in Vermont and being made fun of by the French speakers in Quebec. i'll return sunday, just in time for what promises to be one of the best shows this year: certainly sir, calla and the am an set @ black cat.
my other travel plans for this summer pretty much revolve around soccer. whether David Beckham gets traded to Barcelona or not, i will definitely see him play this summer. a tentative itinerary:
July 30th -
AC Milan (Italy) vs. Barcelona (Spain) @ RFK in Washington, DC
July 31st -
Manchester United (England) vs. Juventus (Italy) @ Giant's Stadium in NY
August 3rd -
Manchester United (England) vs. Barcelona (Spain) @ Lincoln Field in Philadelphia
anyone care to join me at any of these?
