Poor Harley

 We are now staying in a place called Galena, it is a very pretty historic town, but very geared up for tourists. But there are hardly any here at the moment which is good as there are plenty of car parking spaces. We spent most of yesterday driving round Iowa, my hubby managed to find a toy farm vehicles museum which we had to spend far to long in ( Read more... )

Is Harley a pug? We had a pug long ago who had eye problems.

Poor Harley. I hope her vision is okay!

Yes she is a black pug, their eyes are so exposed poor things.That and their nose problems because they are so squashed, it's breeding gone wrong I think, but she is such a lovely temperment.

She was a sweetheart. Sadly, she died while I was with her at the cottage this summer, at the ripe old age of seventeen and a half.

We were truly blessed to have her with us for so long. I still feel her around the house, everywhere I go.

I really miss her clownish companionship.

Yes! For over seventeen years, she did all that and more.

I always go to bed after my J. is asleep and not a night has gone by since Sparkle died, that I haven't thought for just a second to be careful so I don't step on her, lying on the floor on my side of the bed. =<{
