Had to copy this from himself. Those of you who know us both might be interested to see that some of my answers contradict his ... mine are correct :-).
Holiday Fun
1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
As himself said, egg nog, but ONLY Farm Store brand. Awesome doesn't come close.
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just set them under the tree?
Mmm ... now that the kids know there's really not a Santa, both.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
Both, but I don't turn them both on at the same time. Weird, I know.
4. Do you hang a mistletoe?
Yes.
5. When do you put your decorations up?
As soon after Thanksgiving as i can get himself to help us with a tree.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish?
For Thanksgiving, Grandma's Potato Rolls. For Christmas, fried oysters. We have them for Christmas breakfast with biscuits and eggs. Family tradition, what can I say?
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child?
Getting my first 10-speed.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
Don't remember.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
Yes, when I can talk himself into it. He thinks it's breaking the rules or something...
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree?
Lights first. Then garland of gold beads. Then ornaments - shiny balls and family keepsakes. We get ornaments to help remember special places and events, so getting them all out takes
a lot of time. Then sometimes plaid bows get put on last.
11. Snow - love it or hate?
Love it.
12. Can you ice skate?
Used to. Now I'd probably break my neck lol.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
Maybe the 10-speed bike. Or the gorgeous big platter himself gave me one year by having mom serve the turkey on it.
14. What's the most exciting thing about the Holidays for you?
Being with family. Celebrating the earthly birth of God's son...
15. What is your favorite holiday Dessert?
Italian Cream Cake
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
Our Christmas breakfast of fried oysters. I guess you had to grow up with it, but I love it.

An angel, but I might switch to a star this year, not sure...

Giving. Though I do like to receive as well :-)

Either O Come, All Ye Faithful or God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen. Oh, wait, probably Hallelujah from Handel's Messiah.
