I have two dream jobs.
One, I know I would be simply amazing at. I would love to run a hip Bed & Breakfast in either Seattle WA or Portland OR. None of these frou frou potpourri Victorian places-they're nice, don't get me wrong-but hipsters like Lino and myself really don't enjoy those simply because we feel like we are staying at our grandparent's homes.
I love to cook, am always experimenting with new recipes, and am a great hostess. That would be my dream. And my rates would be reasonable-because I know that's what draws business.
The other dream I have is, once I get my Airstream finished, to actually go into business doing just that. I think I will be good at it, but it would strictly be a side thing, I think. I know some of the more world renowned Airstream designers, like David Winick, and I would be good at that, too. Find poor, broken, but workable vintage Airstreams and restore or renovate them-and sell them. I won't be able to sell Kalea (the name Lino and I picked out for the one we have now-it means SHINY in Hawaiian) because I have too much invested in her already (and I'm attached LOL). But I think I would be good at this too.
I am tired of working for other places and not making money. I would be so good at any of these things! I know I would! *sighs* A girl can dream, right?
