eVolo design competition
Yup.. it's design competition held by eVolo , the architecture magazine and the winner for it was announced on 8 March 2010..
and to my surprised, the winner was my senior!!! 3 of my seniors send their design and won it for the 1st price!! not to say that i haven't heard they talk about it before just i don't even think they submit it for international competition!!.
and there goes the winner for the competition:
1st : Malaysia
2nd: Indonesia
3rd: United States
they design a sky crapper for prisoner or in other word a 'prison in the sky' and live like others but served for people underneath them..
that was an outstanding idea that i never think of...
and just now, during my class, my lecturer start to encourage us to participate in any other international design competition for our portfolio purpose.. it is interesting and it would be nice if we can spend some time to design something and send it out... who knows, the next runner up will be us?!!
haha.. I'm so in positive mode now.. and since I'm in this mode, lets just do my final design project..
