It all started because some Justin Bieber song was slowed down 800% and posted online.

You know, I thought that at first, but it was spelled "Bierber" not "Bieber" - on captaincaustic's web page, it's Bierber in the headline and Bieber in the body text. I feel you must be correct, although I haven't done my due diligence in search of the Answer.
