bday party
It's been awhile as usual. Things stay pretty busy with us. These past 2 weeks especially. My sister went into premature labor and spent almost a week in the hospital before they sent her home, with the baby still inside. She made 2 more trips just for monitoring. I ended up putting together Annie (her 1st born) and Rachel's 1st b-day party practically by myself. And in the middle of all this Randy's grandpa died and he had to make a trip back to Oklahoma. I wanted to go with him but my sister was on bedrest and needed help with Annie. Things have pretty much calmed back down but I'm still extra tired from all of it. And my sister is still pregnany, poor thing! I'm beginning to wonder if I have insomnia though, I have the hardest time getting to sleep. I can be totally exhausted by 10pm but not get to sleep until 2am. Then up around 9ish with the kids, which is a decent amount of sleep but I would like to go to sleep earlier and wake up a little earlier!
Anyway enough about sleep. I can't believe Rachel will be 1 on Friday the 13th..haha! She's so tiny still, well she's long but really skinny. The girl eats like a horse but you wouldn't think so looking at her! She has 5 teeth, 2 on bottom and 3 on top. Her hair is still blonde with blue eyes. She says mama dada papa and nono. She waves. She tries to climb everything. And she loves water! We have to be extra careful around the pool with her.
The party went pretty well. We got it all set up and decorated. The food was good, the cakes were delicious! The girls had fun as well as the other kids. It was kind of cloudy but the pool still felt good and it didn't rain until 2 hours after the party! Here's one pic.
