(no subject)
Something occurred to me, while posting the latest chapter. I don't want to post fanfic on LJ anymore. I don't post anything outside of comments directly to the site anymore anyway, I crosspost from Dreamwidth exclusively, but in order to signal boost in comms, I have to go in and use the horrible new LJ posting page, which is confusing. And the comms are so dead I barely even see the point.
But as far as fic, a thought has occurred to me, and while I'm surprised I haven't seen it come up anywhere, I'm also not at all surprised since fandom has all but abandoned this place. I don't want to post gay-oriented fiction on a website owned in a country that is actively trying to squash the homo out of itself. Especially>, considering LJ's track record, and that was even before Russian ownership. I'll almost be surprised if this doesn't eventually come up somewhere. LJ has been completely uncommunicative about anything in English lately, so, I dunno. But I'm uncomfortable with it.
Maybe I'm the only one.
Anyway. The fic lives on AO3 and will continue there for the foreseeable future. That is a happy safe place.
