I am so conflicted about this fic! I find myself really uncomfortable with Orlando and Elijah the bullies, which I guess means you're doing an excellent job of writing them that way, but I love the Dom and Billy storyline so much. Definitely good for the soul to see Billy hold his own for once in this chapter.

I have a feeling of impending doom regarding graduation, though....

Aww. Well, frankly, I'm basing a lot of their behavior on the sort of assholery I remember seeing and occasionally experiencing in school, and have continued to see living in a very Uni/frat-oriented town. The main point of this chappy was to give Orli and Lij the same sort of wake-up call to their idiocy as Dom has gradually been realizing through the story. They aren't bad guys necessarily, they're just stupid frat boys aping what they think is cool, when they really do know they're shitheads. Remember, Dom was one of them at the beginning! And Billy's finally unburdened by all but one last thing to do, so he's realizing he still has a backbone (and a sense of humor) after all.
