Doing good is awesome!

I went to meet my parents in Birmingham City Centre today. The weather was awful, lts of heavy rain. As I came out of the car park to cross the road to go to the Bullring an old lady called out and asked for help. She asked me if I could go across the road and check to see if the lift was working because she couldn't walk up the stairs to get to the bus stop. I ran across to check the lift and then I went back to help her walk across the road, holding with one arm and holding the umbrella over us both with the other. I offered to carry her bags, but she insisted she was OK. The floor was slippy because of the rain so I held her so she wouldn't fall and I went in the lift with her because she asked me to. Then I opened the doors for her before she went to the bus stop and she was really grateful. This made me feel all wonderful inside. ^_^

My parents and I went to eat at a Chinese restaurant and there was a wedding banquet going on. There were many cute babies and small children, they were all so cute! Especially this one with an adorable chubby face and light brown hair. My parents kept remarking how cute he or she was, and how much s/he looked like me as a baby. My parents then mentioned it must have been a half Chinese baby as its hair couldn't possibly have been dyed. I pointed out the white man sat near the baby, he looked like the father.

When I was a baby an old man once gave me his last fiver because I was so ridiculously cute! My dad asked me when the last time someone complimented me was because we bumped into an older Chinese lady who knew my parents and she'd mentioned that I was very pretty and looked like a white girl because of my pale skin and golden hair. My mum said that people wouldn't be giving me fivers for being cute NOW and then seriously a minute later my mum saw a £5 note on the floor and picked it up and gave it to me! Like fate? I thought that was pretty amazing. I told my dad it must have been karma or something. There were some ladies collecting money for the Red Cross and I gave the fiver to them. They must have been pleased because my dad had given them £4 earlier.

Then I come home and there's a programme about Disreali and Gladstone. I love Disraeli! <3
