summary of week one - what i have learnt
Overview of my first week at work
1. I've learnt to realise what working as a team really is, because in my own firm, we really just do our own stuff. No team interaction.
2. I've learnt that I have lots more to learn about ship finance, and that what I have done previously was so low scale that it is pretty embaressing to even put that on my cv!
3. I've learnt that I need to grasp technology by the tail, as well as documents!
4. I've learnt that sitting with my boss really makes you learn how to client manage and pick on his brains!
5. I've learnt that it is normal to be civil in the office, instead of screaming and shouting, and that the former actually gets things done quicker!
I'm so happy where I am, even though I've brought work home to do!
