First Aid.

It's interesting especially when the trainer is completely enthusiastic about it. However, I fell asleep! I can't just sit and listening, no matter how animated you are. It's just not possible especially in a room where it's white. Not creatively inspiring whatsoever!! Had fun - partnered with R.M. and let's face it serious work ain't going to happen. I bandaged both his arms. Yeah, was totally carrying on but not disrupting others. That's very important - have fun but don't disrupt others' learning.

First Aid is common sense in a way but difficult because there's always an audience who loves to give input. I totally understand! He also made the point that when you see a patient, the natural reaction is to help them but as a First Aider you seriously need to chill, think and prioritise. One thing that the trainer said which stuck in my head was, "you never think that when you're going out with your partner, only to be coming home alone" - a woman said it to him when he saved her husband. I may produce a film based on this.

Right...need to do some serious script writing. Procrastination away you go!

first aid, epiphany, having fun, procrastinating, script
